“What are the initial franchise and royalty fees?”

Answer


• Initial Franchise Fee: $37,500
• Software License: $10,000
• Royalty Fee: 6%
• Brand Fund: 2%
• Technology Fee: $350 month or 1%
• Total Initial Investment Range: $88,150 to $270,250

“Do I need previous food related or franchising experience?”

Answer

No. Building a business demands commitment, reliability and confidence. We look for financially qualified community leaders with proven sales and operations experience, a drive for excellence, and passion for the WT Café brand.

“Is WT Café offering single and multi-unit opportunities?”

Answer

We are currently seeking qualified candidates to open single unit franchises.

“How does WT Café define a territory and what is available in my area?”

Answer

Franchise owners are awarded an exclusive protected territory. The territory size and shape depends on the density of target students in the geographic area.

“What type of training will I receive as a new WT Café franchisee?”

Answer

Every franchise owner attends 10 days of hands-on Sales and Operations training at our Corporate Headquarters in Orlando, FL. In addition, ongoing support is provided through webinars, conference calls, remote training, site visits, and access to network of other franchise owners working toward our common goal. When you are ready to open we will be with you three days before you start serving meals to make sure that your team is ready. We will also be with you when you make your first deliveries.

“How soon can I expect to be open and begin serving meals?”

Answer

Most WT Café franchise locations open within five months from signing the franchise agreement. However, if you elect to build your own kitchen the timeline is extended to nine months to allow for permitting and inspections.

“How do I secure my WT Café kitchen?”

Answer

At WT Café, “we deliver” – giving you the ability to service multiple locations from one centralized kitchen while reducing labor and food costs and optimizing potential profits. Generally we suggest renting a kitchen with 1,000 – 1,500 square feet of available space. Options can range from traditional industrial, shared rentals co-ops, or catering kitchen spaces to non-traditional options like non-profits, churches, event halls, or even underutilized restaurant space.

“Will I receive guidance on purchasing food, equipment and supplies?”

Answer

Yes. We have a preferred vendor program that allows you to immediately realize the power of a national brand through our relationships with select national suppliers and manufacturers.

“Will I receive assistance in securing client accounts?”

Answer

Yes. At WT Café, we take all the guesswork out of securing client accounts and growing your business. With our national resources, you will have access to materials, strategies and campaigns with large-company quality. Simply order your materials, tailored to your needs, and start spreading with word about WT Café to immediately secure client accounts. More meals = more revenue = predictable, recurring income.

“When is the best time of  year to get started?”

Answer

Now – before someone else does. From our experience working with hundreds of client accounts across the US, client accounts make decisions to change client accounts services providers all year round. There is no “ideal time” to get started building your WT Café business; there are only missed opportunities.
